detroit flight for notre dame game?

I can get a decent deal for airfare into detroit for the last notre dame game of the season. Is that silly to fly into detroit? any suggestions would be great. thanks

It%26#39;s about a 3.5 hour drive to SB from Detroit. Midway in Chicago is another option and much closer.

What about taking the Amtrak train into Detroit? Depending when you book it, it is pretty reasonable. Keep in mind when booking it that the train out of South Bend usually runs late.

If it is cheaper than Midway it is a good option. You can make it to South Bend in under 3 hours as the airport is right on I-94 in Romulus, MI and you won%26#39;t have the traffic hassles with Chicago so I think it is an easier drive. Again I would only do this if it is cheaper than Midway. i definitely think Detroit is a better option than O%26#39;Hare.

is the o%26#39;hare traffic really that bad? right now o%26#39;hare is my cheapest option other than detroit. i really do not know what to do.
