I%26#39;m going to be in Indianapolis on Friday en route to St. Louis. It%26#39;s looking now like I might be able to get there earlier than I%26#39;d planned, and I%26#39;m contemplating going to the baseball game that evening, but I won%26#39;t know for sure until Friday if I%26#39;ll be there in time to go to the game. Is it generally easy to get walk-up tickets, or am I out of luck if I don%26#39;t buy in advance. I know it%26#39;s the last weekend of the season and they%26#39;re having fireworks after the game, so more people may turn out.

Hello Swords,
Ah, a fan of the old AHL team. I go back to the days when Cincinnati fielded the ';hated'; Cincy Mohawks in the IHL. There was quite a rivalry with the Indpls Chiefs and Cincy was so strong. That%26#39;s another story!
I called the Indians office this morning %26amp; they said tickets are still available for the Friday night game. They are having their own fireworks display after the game %26amp; it%26#39;s also Marvel Comic Book Night. The Saturday game they are allowing fans to remain for the Downtown Sky Concert co-sponsored by a local radio station which will air the music while fireworks fill the night sky. They are also raffling off 30 game worn jerseys from players/coaches since it%26#39;s the season finale. If you want a seat, you probably should call the team and reserve seats. However, they also offer lawn seating in the outfield so bring a blanket %26amp; watch the game from beyond the outfield fence!
You can park in the White River Park lot west of the stadium or a better choice may be the Indiana State parking garage at the corner of Washington %26amp; West Streets.

I recommend going to the game and enjoying the evening at the ballpark. Tickets should be no problem for one. Is that correct? It is a great place to watch a baseball game. Tickets range from the $13 to $8. Check out Indyindians.com for more information.
