Northwest vs Fishers area

I am working with priceline for a room for one nite. Trying to get close to airport. Priceline has two locations (Northwest of downtown by beltway and Fisher) to choose from along with airport area. Are the above ok/safe areas?

Northwest vs Fishers area

The northwest hotels are about 15 minutes closer to the airport than any Fishers area hotels. If the hotels are the ones along 86th Street, Michigan Road, in the Traders Point area, or 96th Street - then they are in very good areas with plenty of restaurant and entertainment options.

Northwest vs Fishers area

Fishers isn%26#39;t exactly close to the airport. Depending on where in Fishers it could take anywhwere from 30-40 min I think.

Thanks for the info, we ended up with the Hilton North in Fishers, which is just off 69 North...I think you are right, we are about 30 min from airport.

There might be a litle confusion on the airport issue. There is Indianapolis Intl. airport of course on the southwest side of Indy. There is also the airport up in Fishers (Fishers Regional AP??) i have heard of hotels up in the Fishers area staing they are five minutes from the airport. Technically true, but I assume most travelers are coming thru Indy Intl. Fishers is probably an extra 15 minutes from the nw side hotels to INTL

We flew into Indy Intl Airport on southside, so about a 30 minute drive..but I%26#39;ll watch morning rush hour.
