We are planning a trip there this July. I was wondering if there is any place you can get coupons for the childrens museum or zoo. I know here in Dayton the entertainment book gives you coupons for local attractions. Is it worth buying one for Indaianpolis or is there another place to get coupons ??
Coupons for Indy zoo or Museum ??
I don%26#39;t think the Indianapolis Entertainment book has coupons for the museum or the zoo. Discounts are hard to get for both of these. Some of the hotels, mainly Holiday Inns, have packages, I think. The first Thursday of the month they have free admission from 4PM to 8PM. Also, if you have a membership to the Cincinnati Zoo, they used to have a reciprocal agreement with the Indy Zoo, where you would get a nice discount.
Coupons for Indy zoo or Museum ??
I%26#39;ve tried to reply to you a few times in the last few days but for some reason it didn%26#39;t let me post anything.
Anyway, I agree that it%26#39;s very hard to find coupons and discounts for the zoo and the children%26#39;s museum.
There is such a thing as the zoo book, but last time I checked they didn%26#39;t have a discount for the zoo!
The zoo does reduce prices on community Tuesdays every so often, so if that works with your schedule you could save a lot. (Thanks to whomever posted that last year in response to a similar question!)

The children%26#39;s museum also has free days once in awhile. It is super crowded, but still can be a lot of fun. Ever since I told her about them, my friend marks her calendar and drives from northern Indiana on those days. The next one won%26#39;t be until December, and looking at the calendar, it seems that there was one yesterday. (Ugh!)
You could also come on a Target Thursday:
Open free for Families the 1st Thursday of each month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

I%26#39;ll try posting this now, and when I remember the rest, I%26#39;ll post again.

In one of our weekly flyers ';the Neighborhood Source,'; there is a coupon for the Indianapolis Zoo($2 of a person), but I don%26#39;t know how non-Indianapolis resident would obtain a copy of the book, maybe a web-site?
It won%26#39;t help with the Children%26#39;s Museum, but it might help with the zoo. I just noticed that White River State Park has a park pass that will give you 25% off if you plan to do all 7 attractions there. This includes the zoo, the Eiteljorg, IMAX and other things.

Also, just like the zoo, if you%26#39;re a member of a museum at home, it doesn%26#39;t hurt to ask if they have a reciprocal agreement with a museum here. Also, I know I read on the Chicago forum last year that teachers and military personnel got discounts/free entry at some places. If either of those apply to you, be sure to ask ahead of time. (Since I%26#39;m neither, I haven%26#39;t checked on Indianapolis attractions.)
Free coupons for ice cream, etc. (No zoo or children%26#39;s museum coupons unfortunately.)

I hope this helps!

At the bottom is a coupon for $2 per person, up to four people, for the zoo.
Haven%26#39;t located Museum coupons yet.
Watch the group packages. Just tried to book on and it was cheaper to get a room with the coupons separately! But there are packages on the Indy Zoo website available. Under prices, then specials I think! Best of luck!
Sorry, above link didn%26#39;t work. This should take you right to the coupon!

Doesn%26#39;t like me...

Copy and paste that. If that doesn%26#39;t work, Google Indianapolis Zoo coupons and look for a news article about Old National. It will have a link at the bottom for the coupon!
Thank you for tyring to provide us with the $2 off coupon link. I wasn%26#39;t able to get it with google either. However, found that if you go to:
www.oldnational.com
click: ';about us'; tab at top
then go to ';news room';
then go to ';news stories';
then go to ';Old National is Proud to Sponsor Oceans at the Indianapolis Zoo';
scroll to the bottom and you will be able to find the coupon to download.
Hope this helps even more!
Weird - when I finally got to the page, it said you have to go to the bank to get the coupon. maybe the change was made since the original person posted the link?
Here is where I found my info:
