south bend to midway?

Our son has a 7:50 PM Central Time flight out of Midway next week and is not able to leave South Bend until 4:00PM Eastern Time. He is looking for ways to get to Midway, either Coach USA or South Shore Line or??

Any recommendations/advice would be much appreciated.

Have him take the South Shore rail line to Randolph st station, cross over to the CTA lines and take the orange line to Midway.

The South Shore won%26#39;t work. If it%26#39;s a weekend, the trains leave at 3:40 and 5:40 from the South Bend airport. Unless he can make the earlier one, even then he%26#39;ll cut it close. If it%26#39;s a week day, there%26#39;s a 4:53 train but it doesn%26#39;t get into Chicago until 6:22, then having to still get to Midway he most likely wouldn%26#39;t make it in time.

4:00pm Eastern Time is 3:00pm Central Time, right? So would that work?

Sorry, the 3:40pm departure would be Eastern time as well of course.
