Any night life?

I will be visiting MI City in October with some girlfriends. We will have a Friday night with no plans. Any suggestions on a good place to go for drinks/dinner/maybe dancing? We are in our 30%26#39;s - 40%26#39;s.

There isn%26#39;t much unless you want to travel about 30 min to Merrillville. If not, then I%26#39;d say go to one of the boats, either Blue Chip in Mich. City or the new Four Winds in New Buffalo.

Only Blue Chip is a boat, both of those are casinos. Maybe worthy of a small splurge and a drink. Wouldn%26#39;t plan on eating there unless you win a big jackpot.

Postpone dancing. Use your feet to shuffle around for dinner %26amp; drinks. The girls thing may have you at Lighthouse Mall Outlet Shopping. Near here are the newly popular McGuiness Pub, Ryan%26#39;s Irish Pub, Matey%26#39;s Restaurant, or Maxine%26#39;s. There is AJ%26#39;s Bar %26amp; Grill which offers bands. On the south side are the multitude of normal food establishments. Maybe look for local Rodini%26#39;s Restaurant, very popular. And great Saganacki! On the Eastern side is a quaint place called Hammers. A well known pizza here is from Albano%26#39;s Villa. You%26#39;ll probably miss the best drive-in for a delicious hot dog %26amp; root beer. Don%26#39;t forget you%26#39;ll also be on the shore of Lake Michigan for a relaxing beach stroll, weather permitting. Have a great time.

Thank you for the info. We are planning to go to the beach Friday afternoon. We are going to gamble Saturday night. And shop Sunday.
