My family will be in Indy on March 3rd for RAW at Conseco Fieldhouse.
We found a hotel 4 tenth of a mile from the venue but with kids and it not getting over till 11 p.m. I%26#39;m worried about the safty of walking there.
Is it safe or would it be better to get a hotel somewhere else and drive to the show? Is it a safe area where the fieldhouse is?

Usually downtown indy is good place. If you are south of the fieldhouse, I would question it. It it is north or west it is probably ok.

You should be fine, the other poster was correct though, better if the hotel isn%26#39;t south of Conseco, north or west are fine.
Which hotel is it? I don%26#39;t think there are any to the south that close.
Should be no problem, especially after a big event with many people on the streets. They only thing you might have to woryy about is if Bobby ';The Brain'; Heenan is out on the streets picking on the little kids. I wish Dick ';THe Bruiser'; (an Indianapolis Legend) was still around
Thank you for the replys.
It%26#39; was actually the Days Inn and that lies Nothwest-(ish) of the fieldhouse that we%26#39;re looking at. I don%26#39;t even know if were staying or not now. We may just drive home. Is there still alot of construction comming in from the East into Indy any comming from I-74?
Chances are you%26#39;ll be fine, but it%26#39;s a bit of a desolate walk (you won%26#39;t see any other people, which I guess means it%26#39;s perfectly safe) and you%26#39;ll have to cross a busy street - but there%26#39;s probably a crosswalk and pedestrian signal. The good news is that you%26#39;ll walk by the City-County building, where there are a lot of police cars.
The Hampton Inn on Meridian is closer.
