are my seats good ones?

Have tickets to Brickyard 400 next weekend. Paddock box 5 row P seats 5%26amp;6. Are they decent? I%26#39;ve never been before and don%26#39;t know what to expect. Sure would appreciate some help.

You will be near the start/finish line roughly half way down the main straight between turns 4 and 1. I think you should be high enough to be in the shade the entire day. The pits will be directly across the track from your position. You should have a view of one of the large video boards so you can see action in other parts of the track. While I prefer having seats in Turn 1, these aren%26#39;t bad.

I sat in almost the same spot for the 500. It%26#39;s a bit lower than I would like but they were good for watching pit action. You will be able to see the video board and will be shaded which is good. Be sure to bring plenty of cold drinks because the lines will be long. You can bring your own cooler in as long as there is no glass (13'; limit I think). Should be good for post race activities there too
