Downtown Jazz

Coming to Indy in a couple weeks: what are the options in the downtown area for Jazz? We would rather be able to walk or take the bus than have to pay for a taxi (I%26#39;ll admit my co-worker and I are cheap).

Thanks,

Barry

Downtown Jazz

It%26#39;s not downtown, it%26#39;s in the Broad Ripple area, the Jazz Kitchen.

Close to downtown...

Another good place is the Slippery Noodle Inn, they do mostly Blues but also have jazz.

Downtown Jazz

Can%26#39;t top those three.

The Chatterbox is my favorite - a real late night haunt, and VERY small. It%26#39;s on Massachusetts Avenue, and is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from most of the downtown hotels. The Slippery Noodle features a lot of rock/blues, but does have Jazz acts somewhat frequently as well.

Of course, it all depends on who%26#39;s playing where; I%26#39;m sure your concierge will tell you, ... or just be surprised.

Damn, that was pretty redundant - sorry about that ...
