Indy Hotwire Hotels?

Thinking of visiting Indy in early June.

Want to stay downtown and are considering using Hotwire.com.

Anyone know what hotels Hotwire generally uses in downtown Indy? We%26#39;d like either a 3 or 4 star hotel.

There%26#39;s a 3.5 hotel available for our dates at $52 or a 4 for $76.

Indy Hotwire Hotels?

Checked back in the archives for info on Hotwire %26amp; also for Priceline. A previous post about Hotwire lists the Sheraton as a 3.5. Also lists Westin, Omni, %26amp; Univ Place/Conference Center at 4-star. Univ Place is not really Downtown but in the IUPUI complex.

In another post about Priceline, it lists the Hyatt, Westin, %26amp; Omni as 4-star hotels Downtown. Hope this helps somewhat.

Sorry to bother you w/an old topic, but appreciate the reply.

Just booked through Hotwire, for 5 nites at $52 for 3.5 star. I was expecting it would be the Sheraton, having read other TA posts in this forum. But I ended up getting Crown Center Union Station for this price! Add $43 taxes/fees and it is right at $62/night! What a great rate! The convention we%26#39;re attending was offering a ';special rate'; of $159 before taxes at a nearby four-star. So I feel hotwire was a great deal this time!

We also got the 3.5 star Crown Plaza Union Station using hotwire.com. Decided to go for the 4th of July and were very happy w/our $191 total for 3 nights! We%26#39;ll probably get one of the inside/pool view rooms, but that%26#39;s okay. Rooms over the 4th anywhere can be tough to find.

P.S. Parking is supposed to be expensive at the hotel, but cheaper all day parking is very nearby. Let me know!
