Need some budget hotel advice

Taking my sister and her kids to the zoo. Would like to pay for her hotel as well as mine. She is a single parent so things are tight for her. We need 2 rooms because we have 7 total. Do not like to use priceline and other similar websites. Can anyone help with a budget hotel? Would like a pool for the kids. Outdoor pool is fine. Thanks for any leads.

I don%26#39;t know anything about that hotel, but I believe the area is pretty decent. Looking at a map, it looks like it%26#39;s the highway 31 exit. There%26#39;s a large movie theater there, and if you go on south on 31 there are lots of restaurants (the road goes to Greenwood and the Greenwood Park Mall). The University of Indianapolis is also nearby.

For a budget hotel I believe that is a good pick. The area to the south is great for restaurants and shopping. I do not know if they have a pool. My family are members of the zoo. The koala bear exhibit is limited to this summer only. The times our family has been the lines are very long as everyone wants to see them. The dolphin show is a must for kids %26amp; it is air conditioned. The oceans exhibit is very neat with a shark touch tank and cool seahorse exhibit. Best time to go is to get there early in the morning before it gets hot. There is not much shade. Check out their website indianapoliszoo.com. Hope this helps.

Pretty sure that is at I 465 south and US 31. That is a good area. To the south about 5 miles is Greenwood with plenty of eats and shopping. To get to the zoo it%26#39;s an easy 15 min drive straight north on 31(31 to Washington St then west about 2 miles)T
