I%26#39;m picking a friend up at the Greyhound bus station in Indy at midnight on Friday. Is this an unsafe thing to do? If so do I have any choices of meeting my friend elsewhere? What do you all suggest?

The Greyhound station is downtown at the corner of S. Illinois St. and W. South St (opposite the Post Office and diagonal to Lucas Oil Stadium). It is surrounded by restaurants and bars, so there will be a suprising number of people about at midnight on a Friday. The bus station also doubles as the train station. All things considered, it is a safe location, plus they have a limited number of short-term parking spaces.
