Any recommendations for nice cocktail bars downtown?

Staying at the Omni in July....are there any nice cocktail bars? I%26#39;ve been doing some research and found lots of bars but most of them seem like beer-bars. Thanks!

The Kellarbar at the Rathskellar (beer-oriented but great)

There are many more, of course, but these are my favorites.

Radio Radio in the Fountain Square District south east of downtown (about 10 minutes drive) has one of the coolest bars in town %26amp; live music on weekends.

Thank you for the suggestions - I%26#39;m really looking forward to my first trip to Indianapolis. I%26#39;m also wondering if the Capital Grille has that incredible big jar of pineapple vodka like the one in Charlotte. I hope so!

The bar inside the CONRAD HILTON is real nice

Any of the nicer restaurants downtown would fit the bill. They all have a small nice bar areas with great service and drinks. Since Indy is second only to Las Vegas in conventions there are quite a few nice watering holes for all of the conventioners while in town. I doubt that you will be able to check them all out. They also might serve beer also but don%26#39;t let that scare you away. Ask some of the hotel staff for their opinion also. Indy is a friendly city.
