I%26#39;m flying into Indianapolis on Friday morning (Aug 1st) and am trying to get to Bloomington. The shuttle leaves right before I land and would hate to wait 2 hours for the next one. Does anyone know of other ways of getting to bloomington or is anyone headed that way?
thanks!

Unfortunately can%26#39;t give you any good recommendations. You could try limo/car services, sometimes you can get a reasonable rate with these (based on the idea that you%26#39;ll be riding in a ';mini-bus'; with other passengers and not a solo passenger). Taxis are obviously a possibility, but would be willing to bet it would cost an arm %26amp; a leg.
You could hope that your flight is early and you can get off the plane, retrieve luggage, etc and make the shuttle you%26#39;re scheduled to just miss, but . . . . (A worthwhile point to consider is where your flying from, how long the flight is etc. as this will impact the chances that you%26#39;ll be either early or late.)
On this same topic, presuming your flight is on time, your 2 hour wait will probably actually be less than that. You%26#39;ve still got to deplane, get your luggage, etc. Thus, I%26#39;m willing to bet your 2 hour wait would be more like an hour or perhaps even less. And, of course, if your flight is late . . . .
Sorry this isn%26#39;t more helpful.

I wish I would have seen your post sooner!!! Maybe I can help with the trip back to the airport...
From the airport, you would get on I-465 going South (or East it might be marked). Get off at Harding Street (HWY-37) which is about 5 miles east of the airport on I-465. Take HWY-37 south about 45 miles and you will be in Bloomington! It is about a 50 minute drive from the airport to Bloomington.
If you need these going back, just do it in reverse. Head north on HWY-37 to I-465 West. Follow the signs to the airport (about 5 miles)
Joey, the OP wasn%26#39;t look for directions to Bloomington but actual transportation.
