Getting To The Casino From The Louisville Airport

We went there last year in early September %26amp; it was really bad getting to the casino from the airport. We took a hotel shuttle to downtown Louisville then looked for a cab. Funny none anywhere. We asked people then they told us to go to The Gault House. It was in the 90%26#39;s walking with our suitcases about 8 blocks. The the cab charged us over $40 %26amp; kept the meter running when we wanted to stop for beer %26amp; soda for the room. Wow then the way home to the airport. Try to get a cab to go there. They don%26#39;t want to. We waited for 2 hours one day just to go to the liquor store %26amp; to rent a car it is very expensive. Does anyone know if they have a shuttle from the airport to the casino??? I see Belterra does on the airport website. Oh yes my man is now a Diamond member. Do they pick you up? We were both Platinum last year %26amp; the casino just said take a cab. Just wondering before I call Harrah%26#39;s to find out.

Not sure which casino your looking for. Belterra ia about 30 minutes east of Louisville. There used to be Caeser%26#39;s but i think they just changed name to Horseshoe. It is a little west of Lousiville. I would hit the casino websites for info.

I am going to Elizabeth IN (Ceaser%26#39;s now Horseshoe). I found out Belterra has a shuttle from the Loisiville airport but I get 4 ngts free in a King Whirlpool Suite so of course I am going there %26amp; I get no free rooms from Belterra. I just wanted to know if there is a better way than a cab to get there.Hope someone can help.
