Just found this yesterday surfing for a place to go for July 4th %26amp; July 5th. We always go to casinos or Lake Geneva (way too costly on a holiday) %26amp; were even thinking of going to Green Bay to Onieda. I kept looking %26amp; found this lifesaver website. I just booked the bungalow Sunflower for the 4th %26amp; 5th. A bit costly over the holiday but to me a constant casino gambler well worth the price. I cannot wait to go %26amp; am so excited of having found this. All couples with no children check this out or couples who have a sitter %26amp; need alone time cause it made my whole day today. I will post back after my trip %26amp; let everyone know how it was. I wish I found this sooner. Just wanted to share. Oh I am from Chicago a mile from Midway Airport.

I live in Laporte and when my daughter who lives out of town got married 2 years ago her and her new husband stayed here for their wedding night. They really like it! Don%26#39;t forget to check out the new casino in New Buffalo, Michigan in addition to the Blue Chip in Michigan City.

sweetpickle thanks for the info. I am trying to get away from casinos (rather get my guy away from them) %26amp; this is why I was so excited to see this place. We have been to Blue Chip many times %26amp; he wants to go to Four Winds of course. I got this place so we can stay there %26amp; not leave for the 2 days (yea) casinos are getting way too expensive for us %26amp; thanks for telling me this place was nice. I am looking so forward to this relaxing week-end %26amp; just wanted to advise people also. I sent this to the people I work with %26amp; they think it is great too.

We make a point to got to serenity springs atleast once a year. It%26#39;s a wonderful place, totally relaxing and time seems to slow down when we%26#39;re there. We%26#39;ve done the in room massage which was great. Make sure you do the carriage ride of the property.

Thanks narn I will take the carriage ride %26amp; maybe the massage too. He will be fishing alot too %26amp; that is the hook line and sinker (pun intended) that got him with the spring fed lake %26amp; the pictures of the people that caught fish. What do we have to bring with us and what beverages do they supply. I know they asked about softdrinks and juice but we will be BBQ%26#39;ing %26amp; bringing up steaks, ect for the 2 days but can you tell me more about the place in details so I will know what to expect %26amp; what to bring, of course a case of beer for my man %26amp; I have a great bottle of wine I was saving for an occasion like this.

Yes bring any liquor you may want. We%26#39;ve never BBQ%26#39;d, we always order dinner from Damon%26#39;s which they come into the room and set up everything for you when it gets there. They%26#39;ll have snacks on the table, bags of chips, candy. There%26#39;s microwave popcorn too. In the fridge, juice, water and pop. Other than that you don%26#39;t need much. They even have tooth brushes for you if you don%26#39;t want to bring yours. You%26#39;ll also get 2 travel coffee mugs. There%26#39;s a coffee pot and also tea. If you want to watch a movie or play a board game, you just write it on a note and leave it in the butler door. They%26#39;ll deliver it to your butler door in no time. We always get excited when the light turns on to see what kind of goodies are coming! In the morning you%26#39;ll get a newpaper, fruit basket and granola bars so if you want anything more for breakfast you should bring that too.

Thank you so much for the great info. When you request things such as a movie, etc. do they charge you extra? I also am wondering if I have to bring condiments for our BBQing too. I will email them and ask as they are really good about answering emails. I just don%26#39;t want the bill to run up alot since it cost us $575 for the 2 days so i just wanted to know what they do charge extra for. I know dinners %26amp; massages but not what else. He loves to BBQ so we will for sure do that. He makes awesome steaks %26amp; ribs but we will just bring steaks, hotdogs, %26amp; Italian sausage. How bout paper plates %26amp; napkins? We were planning on bringing all that too %26amp; throwaway cups too. They have cream %26amp; sweet %26amp; low for the coffee too? I am used to going to The Cove in lake geneva %26amp; we bring most of our stuff with so it%26#39;s hard to think someone has everything there %26amp; u don%26#39;t have to bring much.

As far as condiments, I%26#39;m not sure as we%26#39;ve never needed them. They do have all the grilling tools and foil. Cream and sugar (although not the liquid creamer) are there. You won%26#39;t need cups or things like that, they have a cabinet in the room with all that. There%26#39;s no charge for movies or anything. If I remember correctly, there are movie channels on the tv.

Great narn that%26#39;s what I figured since they said we have satellite TV %26amp; I like the powder cream. I am so exited about going I want everything perfect. A host just called from Blue Chip to see if I wanted the 4th of July comped. I emailed them a while back. I said we already have plans. See that%26#39;s where we would have ended up. I am glad he did not answer sooner.
