Flying on AirTran

Anyone had experience with this airline? Any information on what you can carry-on or additional fees for baggage?

Flying on AirTran

We used AirTran to Ft Myers last year %26amp; had a good experience. At that time there was no fee for extra baggage. I don%26#39;t remember the carry-on requirements, but the bins were very full %26amp; we had to put our bags up quite a bit away from our seats. (These kinds of problems will only increase as fees for checked bags become more common.)

We fly Airtran a couple times a year to Florida from IND. We like the direct service and the prices.

When we last flew with them in January, there were no additional fees. I would check their web site or call them for current fees.

Thanks for the responses...glad to hear that you all have had good experiences. I went with them for the direct flight too...I didn%26#39;t want to mess with changing planes and all that as I%26#39;m not really an experienced traveler when it comes to flying
