Indy 500 parade

Can you just stand to watch the parade for free or do you have to have tickets just to watch it! We would like to attend tomorrow but it looks like you have to pay no matter what!

There%26#39;s no problem if you want to find a spot on the street %26amp; stand to watch. Just be aware that the best places have seats/standards that are paid for. A good tip is that the paid seating does not go around the street corners, so if you are willing to stand that%26#39;s a good place. Stake out a street corner early %26amp; enjoy.

There are places for free. After a complete washout yesterday it%26#39;s bright and sunny today........so far. Hope that didn%26#39;t dampen your spirits too much. It will be sunny and 80 (I guarantee it) for the race tomorrow. Get to your seats by 11:00 and make sure you don%26#39;t miss the singing of Back Home Again in Indiana, the baloon release, and the National Anthem with the fly over exactly as the last note is hit. Another guarantee, you%26#39;ll be up onyour feet and a chill up your spine for the parade, pace and at least the first 3 laps

Be sure to read my new post under Indy attire. We had a great time at the parade. We snagged a few steps in front of the monument and had a great view!
