I am going to the drag racing finals in Indianapolis with my husband, sister-in-law, and my in-laws. The ladies would like to get away at least one night for a nice dinner - any suggestions within a relatively close drive from the raceway...or do we need to plan on driving into downtown Indy for fine dining? Looking for something different (not a chain) if possible. Thanks!
Restaurants Near O'Reilly Raceway?
I assume your%26#39;re going to The U.S. Nationals Labor Day weekend. Not too from Raceway park is Union Jack%26#39;s at Crawfordsvile Road and 465 in Speedway. It is best know for pizza but has pretty good steaks. It will be crowded and probably noisy that weekend. The opposite way in Brownsburg is The Green Street which has good steaks B Burg is about three miles away. If you decide to go downtown it%26#39;s an easy drive and there are many restaurants thee of course. The only bad thing downtown is that one night over Labor Day weekend there is a big fireworks show so traffic would be terrible on that night Where abouts do you plan to stay? This can help me guide you a little better

Forgot about Boulder Creek in Brownsburg. It%26#39;s good and close
Thanks for the info! That%26#39;s good to know about the fireworks show downtown as well because I wasn%26#39;t aware of that. I honestly don%26#39;t know where we%26#39;re staying, but I know it%26#39;s a ';budget'; hotel close to the dragway and is nothing fancy. I love sushi so the Tegry Bistro sounds good, and the fish and steaks at Boulder Creek sound great as well! Thanks again. :-)
Ricks Boat Yard, near the Eagle Creek airport can be a fun spot for drinks and dinner. It has indoor or outdoor seating.
