Roadtrip - Indy to NYC

Hi all

I am plannign a w/e trip to Indy, driving with some friends from NYC. We are probably looking for the quickest route, someone mentioned driving through the Pocono%26#39;s. any ideas? also is there anything worth stopping to see along the way? we were planning on driving straight through but could stop over if needed..

Roadtrip - Indy to NYC

I would take I-78 towards Harrisburg and connect to I-76 heading to Pittsburgh. From there, you can take I-70 all the way to downtown Indianapolis.

You will be close to Gettysburg Cemetery and the Flight 93 9/11 Memorial in PA. Ohio (east of Columbus) is pretty, very hilly, scenic, but once you pass Columbus, it%26#39;s plain and flat all the way to Indy. Fortunately, it%26#39;s only about 4 hours between the cities.

I%26#39;ve done that trip once and don%26#39;t recall any other sites. Flight 93 9/11 Memorial is a little off the beaten path, but was worthwhile. There wasn%26#39;t much there, but the significance of it was enough for me.
