Many moms meeting from neighboring states and we are looking for a great hotel. It%26#39;d be nice if there were a spa nearby or in the hotel should some moms like to indulge in a spa treatment on the getaway. Any Indianapolis folks know of a good location/hotel for us? Thanks in advance!!!
spa near the Marriott North or other hotel for moms getaway?
The Marriott you mentioned in the thread title is a very nice one and would make a good choice for you. It%26#39;s in the Keystone at the Crossing complex, good restaurant variety and the Fashion Mall, everything you need right there. It%26#39;s off of 82nd St and just down 82nd about 1/2 way between Keystone Ave and Allisonville Roads on the right hand side is a good day spa called Phillipe%26#39;s, very nice! There%26#39;s another day spa called Absolu, it%26#39;s on the left hand side, upstairs in a building right before the traffic lights of 82nd and Allisonville Rd.

There is a new spa not too far from there called Mango Bay. It%26#39;s near the intersection of 96th and Ditch Rd. I haven%26#39;t been there, but I%26#39;ve heard good things about it.
My favorite day spa by far in the Indy area is David and Mary, it%26#39;s in the Clay Terrace shopping center at 146th and Hwy 31 (Meridian St) Beautiful facility, wonderful staff.
I would NEVER recommend Phillipes Spa. Terrible customer service and a hole-in-the wall experience compared to many other day spas in Indianapolis. It%26#39;s over priced and the women who work there are extremely unprofessional. Most women I know who have been have also had bad experiences. Don%26#39;t waste your money.
Sorry, but I beg to differ on the previous poster%26#39;s response about Phillipe%26#39;s. I don%26#39;t go there but have many friends who are long and very loyal customers there.
It seems GRythol is just someone with an axe to grind, or dare I say, an employee of a competitor. She/he joined the same day they wrote this.
Positive about Philipes: I got my mom a gift certificate to this place. They stayed open 10 minutes past there close time b/c I told them it was a Christmas present/surprise and that I wouldn%26#39;t be there in time to purchase it (and of course its the last minute.) My wife has had at least a dozen experiences here and loves it.
And just my own personal vent: Please don%26#39;t join this site to bash someone. Have something positive to say about something. I realize there are some nightmares out there, but you make yourself less believable if the only thing that you say is negative. I can%26#39;t stand people with a personal agenda, who, in most cases, are the ones who are causing the negative reaction. %26lt;/vent%26gt;
