I thought I had posted this once already but didn%26#39;t see it through past posts so will again.
What is there to do in Evansville? We have a family reunion planned for the last wknd in April. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. We stayed here 2 yrs ago and loved it which is why we%26#39;re going back. Other than the Zoo what is there to do? We are a group of 13-14 famalies w/children ranging in age from 6 yrs old up to 15 yrs old and then of course parents, grandparents, aunts %26amp; uncles. The pool is great for a little while but I%26#39;d like to have something to do on Saturday other than hang out at the hotel and in the pool all day.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!
TIA!

What to do in Evansville, IN
There is a casino
What to do in Evansville, IN
Can%26#39;t go to casinos w/children. Plus we don%26#39;t gamble anyway. We%26#39;re looking for kid friendly activities.
There is also a mall.
Mall? A Mall is good!! Can you give me information about it? Where is it? What stores? Etc.
TIA!!

The main mall in Evansville is Eastland Mall. It%26#39;s located on Green River Rd. Stores include: JC Penney, Macy%26#39;s, Old Navy, just pretty much any nationally known mall shops. Another suggestion is to go see an IMAX movie (it%26#39;s located only a few blocks from the mall). Kids love the 3-D flicks.
WONDERFUL!! Thanks so much for the additional info!! It helps alot!!

There%26#39;s an indoor miniature golf center that also has laser tag that%26#39;s a big hit with families on the northwest side of town. IMAX is on the east side near the mall. The Evansville Museum is pretty neat and has several hands-on exhibits and a planetarium that offers shows daily (I recently took my 7-year-old son and we had a blast). The museum is located downtown on the riverfront, which is also a neat place to just walk around if you want to kill time. There%26#39;s also a new LST ship from WWII that you can tour (I haven%26#39;t been to that yet, though) that%26#39;s also on the riverfront. The LST is a ship that was made in Evansville during the war at the Evansville Shipyards. There are lots of old photos and more information at the museum about this (and probably on the ship itself, too). You can google any of these things and get more information if you%26#39;re interested. Oh, and there is an ice skating rink and indoor skateboard park called Swonder; Skate World is a rollerskating rink (old school style or rollerblade rentals available); Vertical Excape is an indoor rock-climbing place (I don%26#39;t know much about it, as my son is not very daring). That%26#39;s all I can think of right now.....Good Luck! Hope you guys have a great time while you%26#39;re here!
A whole lot of nothing. I moved away four years ago because of nothing to do in Evansville.
You can visit the Angel Mounds....it is close to Newburg IN, only $4
The Evansville Museum of Arts and Sciences (on the downtown riverfront) as a great childrens section with lots of hands-on exhibits.
