Colts Game Day Parking & Restaurants

Colts fan coming from Ohio to attend first Colts game on December 30th---1:00 PM game. Any suggestions on:

1. Directions to closest parking and what time to get there

2. Restaurants that would appeal to my 15 year old son and when they open

Thanks,

If you get there early enough and depending on the weather, you can park on the street at a meter for FREE.(free after 6:00 p.m./weekends/holidays). I like to park on New York Street or farther north. From there it%26#39;s about a six block walk to The Dome. In The Circle Center Mall is Johnny Rockets (burgers/fries/shakes) or on Illinois St(?) there is a Steak and Shake. Does your son have any favorites or is he likemost 15 y.o. and eats about anything in sight? If driving in from I 70 head take the MichiganSt/Ogio Street exit. Turn right on Mich ST (one way west) After you pass Pensylvania St start looking for an open meter to park. There is plenty of parking near the Dome($10 and UP) either indoors or on open lots

My son is 12 - enjoys lots of restaurants downtown. Jillians, Rock Bottom, Alcatraz, Ram. All chains, not sure when they open on gameday - but I believe all open late morning.

The earlier that you get downtown the better the free parking options wil be available. Much to choose from around the Circle Center mall area. Meridian and Pennsylvania streets. Check out Indy.com for more information on downtown restaurants. Enjoy
