nightlife help...

Since you are going to Ike and Jonsey%26#39;s, are you staying downtown and do you want to just do things in the downtown area? Do you want good bars/nightlife or do you want names of restaurants as well? Casual or nice?

A great place to go is the Slippery Noodle Inn for music and drinking.

Depending upon which band is playing, I%26#39;d head up to the Rathskellar on Mass Avenue and sit in the Biergarden. While I%26#39;m thinking of Mass Ave, has anyone been to the new Chatham Tap by the Scholars Inn?

we are willing to stay in which area most people recomend..are we correct about thursday night? we like the dance club scene for older adults..

Mass ave. is close to downtown it is the north east street running into downtown. A redevelopment to a arts and restaurant area is taking place. I second the Slippery Noodle. Great drink prices thursday night. I am also partial to the hard rock. small cozy bar area.

For having a couple of drinks with some friends, and maybe some bar food, I strongly second the Rathskellar bar. It%26#39;s like nothing else in the city - a dark, carved wood teutonic beer hall type affair serving a WIDE variety of imported and local micro brews.

Maybe a good place to go before or after clubbing.

Chatham Tap is great - good food, wonderful beer selection. Better yet, it is non-smoking until 11pm, when it ceases being a ';restaurant'; and becomes a ';bar.';

Chatham Tap is great! The wings are fantastic and it%26#39;s always a good crowd in there. Nice atmosphere too with flat screens to watch football games. I highly recommend this place if you are looking a nice, chill place to hang out.
