restaurants near Conseco field house?

Coming to a basketball game there in December- any recommendations?

restaurants near Conseco field house?

There%26#39;s a bunch. Morton%26#39;s (the VERY high end steakhouse chain) is my favorite steakhouse in the city, and is just a short walk from the front doors of Conseco. The Slippery Noodle is also just a couple of blocks away. There are a slew of decent restaurants within a seven or eight block walk: Oceanaire (high end seafood chain), Palomino (moderately high end American cuisine), RAM, Rock Bottom, St. Elmo%26#39;s Steakhouse and it%26#39;s slightly more reasonably priced younger brother Harry %26amp; Izzy%26#39;s, and many more. And there are many mid to low priced chain restaurants in the immediate area.

Just a short drive from Conseco - or a long walk - are the restaurants of Massachusetts Avenue: Scholar%26#39;s Inn and Elements (two of Indy%26#39;s best locally owned restaurants), Aesop%26#39;s Tables (a nice mediterranean restaurant), Yatz (a great, very low cost creole cafe), the Chatterbox (hole in the wall jazz/blues club where, on occasion, jazz and rock greats show up), and much more. And a short drive in the other direction is Dunaway%26#39;s - a terrific Italian/American restaurant (expensive, quirkily elegant).

Have fun.
