ND weekend lodging

My husband and I and our 2 college age kids have tickets for the NC game and are looking for lodging for Nov. 3-4. We have stayed in Niles in the past at the Niles Inn but it was pretty bad and pretty high. We know we will have to stay outside of South Bend; we are willing to try a Mom %26amp; Pop motel but don%26#39;t know a thing about any of them. We don%26#39;t need any extras as all we do is sleep in the room but it needs to be clean! Any suggestions within a 20-30 miles radius of campus? appreciate any help you can give.

I look to those ';lists'; websites with people%26#39;s names in them. If you look under temporary lodging you can find something.

Their are reputable mid tier chain hotels like Hampton Inn, Courtyard, Fairfield, Holiday Inn Express in cities and towns surrounding South Bend. Try looking for hotels in Elkhart, Goshen, Plymouth, Laporte, Michigan City, Warsaw (about 40 miles). You might also get fortunate with an Amish Bed and Breakfast by looking up Nappanee or Shipshewana.
